lost theory

Aspiring to be an abstract expressionist at the age of 15 sounds unusual, but doing it living in the tropics of Far North Queensland is completely out of the ordinary.

While most of his friends were drawing superheroes and dreaming of winning the Archibald, Adam was discovering the artworks of Jasper Johns and Jackson Pollock.

Created using mixed mediums of ink, paint and a collage on handmade papers, Adam’s work demonstrates an understanding for the emotional possibilities within gestural paint application and complex forms.
